Getting funding is top-of-mind for non-profit organizations. And funders want to know that their dollars are contributing to achieving the organizational mission. So, is your program creating positive change for the community? Are you fulfilling your mission? Use the power of data to find out if the program is working and what populations are being best served.
Approach
The same methodology and expertise used to measure complex human capital programs can also enable non-profits to understand their community impact. Through this work, organizations can understand which actions are driving mission impact, where the programs are most effective and how they could be deployed for even greater success.
Our comprehensive methodology incorporates qualitative and quantitative methods, descriptive and observational statistics, performance improvement theory and business analytics.
To support workforce development program decisions, for example, we evaluate applicant rates, assessment scores, training completion rates, hiring rates, retention and turnover, job performance, eligibility for benefits, wage gains and promotions. We then segment the results by demographics to determine populations served, populations succeeding or failing, and public assistance status of participants. This quantitative analysis is complemented by interviews with program stakeholders, providing perspective on the data. The result is a clear assessment of program effectiveness, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement and systemic change.
