Dean Spitzer Joins Capital Analytics Advisory Board

Durham, NC—September 30, 2011—Capital Analytics, a consultancy that’s revolutionizing the way companies evaluate investments in their people, today announced the appointment of Dr. Dean R. Spitzer to its advisory board.

Dr. Spitzer is an expert on performance measurement and management. He has advised companies and government agencies throughout the world and has helped over 100 organizations on five continents improve their performance. He has been a professor at 5 universities, including Boise State University, University of North Carolina, and the State University of New York and has authored 8 books, including his latest Transforming Performance Measurement. Critics have called this is the most important book that has ever been written about performance measurement. Dr. Spitzer has also written over 200 articles and book chapters and has been a keynote/featured presenter at more than 100 conferences worldwide.

Dr. Spitzer has been selected as a Fellow of the Advanced Performance Institute and has received two President’s Awards from the International Society for Performance Improvement. He also holds the prestigious Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) designation. Dr. Spitzer earned his doctorate degree from the University of Southern California and his masters from Northwestern University. He attended both undergraduate and graduate studies at the London School of Economics.
